Why the piano is isolated first

What to expect from the score

The notation is engraved from the transcribed performance, exactly as played. Songs with a steady beat come out clean and readable. A pianist playing heavy rubato produces busier notation, because the timing on the recording genuinely is that free. For those pieces the MusicXML in a notation app is the right starting point: the pitches and hands are right, and you simplify rhythms to taste.

Limits, honestly

Videos up to 15 minutes. Age-restricted and private videos cannot be fetched; save the audio and upload the file instead. Six songs an hour per person keeps it free for everyone.
